RAMADAN

During the holy month of Ramadan, MSAL organises several events not only for muslim communities in campus and surrounding areas, but also for public. In campus, Taraweh prayer is held daily directly after Isya prayer. In addition to Taraweh prayer, MSAL also organises daily iftaar (break the fast), which is held in the masjid, for muslim fasting during the day.

Apart from daily iftaar, a public iftaar is also organised for public (wider community from many different backgrounds in Launceston) who wish to experience how Muslim breaking fast.

Public iftaar, which was opened for public, was attended by many locals in Launceston. They were interested in experiencing how muslims break their fast during Ramadan.
